You may remember H&M from such memorable collaborations as Lanvin ♥ H&M and M by Madonna, but the Swedish giant has taken a new direction by announcing an exclusively online plus-size capsule collection called Inclusive due in early March. The 20 piece range will be available in sizes 32-54 (that’s Swedish for 6/8-24) and includes floral prints, polka dots, flirty 50's style party dresses and skirts, cardigans, tops and lingerie. The catch? It’s only available to Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. Maybe not so inclusive? Thoughts?

A big chunk of stock came in today and my thought process basically went… Ohmygodthatsalotofblack!Ihavetotosellallthat?WherethehellamIgoingtoputitall?Oooohthatgarmentracklookslikeitmightbreak!

So anyway the upside is … YAY! … the v-neck dress, the cutout dress, the halter dress, the basic leggings, the shorts and the motor leggings are all in my showroom ready to be whizzed out to anyone and everyone - so don’t hold back! Everything else is expected next week so there won’t be too much more of a wait. THANK GOD!

Australian plus size model Robyn Lawley has done quite the sneaky double take and backed up a November Cosmo swimsuit shoot with a December one as well. This says to me …
a. Swimsuits look H.O.T.T. on girls with curves
b. There just aren’t enough plus size models to fill demand
I prefer the December shoot to the November one. I like the colouring. Thoughts?

So I launched and nothing has exploded … yet. I’ve also set up my facebook page so, like, you know, if you want to swing past that and maybe like it that would be fab! Already behind in designing aw11 ... of course. It's gonna be a busy summer!

I pressed the button! BUT BEFORE you go traipsing over to the site, I need to tell you that everything is currently PRE-ORDER with delivery between 2 and 6 weeks depending on what you buy. I get that people probably won’t want to order right away but at least you get to see what’s there right? RIGHT???

Muse-de-jour Beth Ditto opened and closed Jean Paul Gaultier’s Joan Jett inspired SS11 Paris show yesterday. Now considering she’s a size 28 and 5’2” it seems to me this isn’t a breakthrough for plus-size women everywhere - as in “Yay! JPG is going to make clothes in my size!”, but more of a publicity stunt - as in “Gee there seems to be a lot of interest in plus-size lately. How can I capitalize on this without ACTUALLY DESIGNING PLUS-SIZE CLOTHES!" Just IMO. What are your thoughts? Discuss …
